Moment in Time
Every now and then life throws you a ball that feels awfully like a moment. Yesterday, I met Terron Schaefer from my current favorite show “Fashion Star”. Yes, the show starring Jessica Simpson, Nicole Riche and John Varvatos is my guilty pleasure but if you know me you know me, you know there is nothing I feel guilty about. The instantaneous gratification, you can buy the clothes of the week’s winner seconds later, is so current it’s past tense. If you aren’t obsessed you are dead to me!

One product I have never understood was brow gel. Instead of wasting your money on this useless product, I’ll tell you my secret. Pure cocoa butter or shea butter is the perfect grooming tool for your brows and super affordable. If you weren’t born with brows like JLo then tame those tigers with a little butter that will also condition the hairs to prevent fallout. Of course plucking or threading is the key to naturally shaped brows but waxing is the go to quick fix to looking constantly surprised. :D

How to Shave Stylishly
While breezing thru my FB feed I came across a friend who works and blogs for W Magazine. He had posted a recent blog piece he did about this amazing new company called Harry’s. I just had to share it with all of you as I will definitely be buying one of their razors for the hubby.
Harry’s is the genius idea of Warby Parker co-founder Jeff Raider and has been featured not only on the W blog but also in GQ and several other blogs like Thrillist. In similar fashion as Warby Parker it’s all about delivering a quality product for an affordable price. Who doesn’t want that?
Offering two different sets, the Truman goes for $15 and the Winston is $25, these little bundles of shaving joy will get you thru an entire month of baby smooth skin or tight lines depending on your desire. Each set comes with a German designed steel handle, 3 blades and a tube of shaving cream. Replacement blades cost half that seen in drugstores and the ergonomic handles come in either zinc alloy or chrome finish hence the price difference.
The part that really got me was the blade is on a swivel meaning even the most intricate of beard trimming is possible. Harry’s is a purely online retailer allowing it to keep prices low and style high. You don’t have to get the set because single razors are available for a mere $10. Just another example proving that not everything fabulous has to be break the bank. Thanks Justin for the heads up on this fantastic product!

Everything’s Coming Up Roses!
One Spring trend you can always bank on is florals. Spring is about color and pattern with no better way to showcase both then said flower. Personally I view floral like I see animal print. You have two options: do it full out or as an accent. Here is my accent version in the form of my much beloved pump done by Giuseppe, Charlotte & Jimmy. Which is your favorite? There will be more on the go big or go home version soon.

Daddy Karl
The last time Coco Chanel saw 100 was on Time Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People of the 20th Century. Now her very first boutique ever opened, in Deauville thanks to funding from her first love Boy Capel, celebrates it’s century milestone in typical fabulous fashion. Karl Lagerfeld is getting back behind the camera to direct another short film this time with Keira Knightley playing Mademoiselle to honor this esteemed occasion. I LOVE Karl’s films, check out “The Tale of a Fairy” above for trippy yet titillating sartorial cinema. Can’t wait for the next go round…
